We just got back from a great weekend at the quarry! There are 8 new divers out there now, ready to dive the world. The weather was perfect and a good time was had by all. Thanks to Colin, Dylan, Tom and Makiri for helping to make it happen.
On another channel, the gang on the Philippines trip got off to a good start. And then…. the coronavirus decided to change the plan. Most unfortunately, the virus spread throughout the boat, and the Philippine health authorities ordered the boat back to port and the passengers and crew into isolation. When the final tally was in, all but 4 of our gang tested positive. That is not exactly the dream vacation that people had envisioned. Most travelers were just disappointed and resigned to the fact that the virus (and local authorities) call the shots. Big thanks to Ben for helping to navigate through the many steps in the long process.
